Caminito del Rey day trip from Seville

Discovering Andalucía offers you to walk along one of the most famous paths in the world, the Caminito del Rey, a 7-kilometre walk along the Gaitanes and Gaitanejo gorges, parallel to the railway tracks.

After leaving Seville, our guide will take you to the entrance of the path, which will take about two hours. There we will leave the vehicle where we will return later.

We will begin by learning about its origins, which date back to 1921 when King Alfonso XII, after the inauguration of the Conde de Guadalhorce dam, crossed the previously constructed path. Since then, the Gaitanes and Gaitanejo gorges and canyons have been the backdrop to this impressive route.

It is all set in a photographic natural landscape that makes walking through the gorges, which run between the reservoir and the canyons, an adventure that you must experience.
