One of the oldest cities in Europe.

In this half day tour to Carmona we will visit the wonderful white town situated in a hill really close from Seville.

It has been inhabited for more than five thousand years, located on a plateau from where you can appreciate the Vega of the Carbones river. Its geographical location has given its historical importance.

We will begin our tour at the Roman Necropolis, built more than two thousand years ago. Its series of tombs and archeological pieces are representative of the art and culture of the era.

Afterwards we will walk the streets of the historic center, and have the opportunity to observe its millenary buildings. We will cross the gates of the city, these were part of the ancient wall that protected the city in different times of its history.

We will start in Seville and go to the City of Carmona. We will visit the historic City Centre, the necropolis, and the main monuments of the ancient city called "The star of Europe." Carthaginians, Romans, Muslims and Christians, have left an indelible mark at this place. Furthermore, you’ll discover an extraordinary place, a Necropolis, a Roman Cemetery, that was built 2000 years ago. We will walk around Carmona City Centre to visit: The Palace of King Don Pedro, The Moorish Alcazar, The Roman Bridge and The Seville and Córdoba Gates.
