Spain is the world’s leading producer of olive oil, which is why Discovering Andalusia has created a special activity that takes you inside the production process.
This is a half-day guided visit to a typical Andalusian hacienda, in the province of Seville, to discover all the secrets of a century-old oil mill, the secrets of the olive tree and olive oil, a tradition that dates back to the 17th century.
We want our friends, our customers, to know the details of the functioning of a traditional oil mill and to enter into the field dedicated to olive cultivation to know the process of extraction and production of olive oil, the liquid gold of Andalusia.
From the province of Jaen, through the Sierra de Cazorla, to Huelva and Seville, the action of the main producers of olive culture is extended.
For thousands of years, Andalusia has been the world’s leading producer of this product. This is the perfect tour for those who want to know more about the process of making and tasting olive oil.
During the visit, you will be able to learn about the production process, taste the product and make a pairing of extra virgin olive oil.
At the end of the tour, we will return to Seville by our transport, having enjoyed an excursion full of learning, contact with nature and unforgettable images.
Meeting Point
Start time 9:45 am. Pick up in your accommodation in Seville or accessible near point. After your reservation, we will get in touch with you to specify the collection point and the exact pick up time.
Availability & Languages
- You can check the availability in the reservation calendar. You can reserve a tour up to 10 hours before the start time.
- Tour available in Spanish, English, French and Italian. Choose the language of the to on the booking form. A minimum of 3 people is required to guarantee the tour in French or Italian. If this number of people is not reached, the tour will be done by default in English or Spanish. For other languages, please contact us.
