A place where emperors were born.

This incredible ancient city is one of the Roman archaeological sites, it’s the most important artistic and architectural discoveries of the region of the Roman times.

Discovered last century next to the town of Santiponce, was the birthplace of Trajan and Hadrian, two important Roman emperors.

We will visit its impressive amphitheater which had a capacity of ten thousand spectators. We will walk throughout the streets of this metropolis. This unique city was designed as a retirement place for soldiers who fought at the Punic wars. We will visit the city buildings with their colorful mosaic floors and the statues that adorned their interior gardens.

After that we have time to discover the medieval monastery of San Isidoro del Campo, with nice masterpieces, ceramics, and the shape of a original castle.

Rapidly we will get to the archeological site and we will walk around the streets with our expert guide who will help us to interprete and understand the old city where we'll discover suprising mosaics, the ancient roman theatre discovered in the middle of the XX century, the old roman baths and its famous amphitheatre, one of the greatest of the Roman world where we set famous gladiators' fights.


After, we will visit the medieval monaster of San Isidoro del Campo, a medieval fortress which hides treasures of the Mudejar, Gothic and Baroque periods.


Back in Seville.
