Mosque and Jewish Quarter Tour in Cordoba
Mon - Tue - Wed - Thu - Fri - Sat - Sun (Approximately 3 hours)
Join us on this tour through the history of Andalusia and visit one of its most beautiful architectural treasures. We will visit this monument, which has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. A guided tour to discover all the details with our professional guide.
In this tour we will enter the Mosque of Cordoba to interpret the greatness of this magnificent monument, and we will walk through the Jewish Quarter to learn about the history and culture of this city.
With our guide, we will enter the Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba, an architectural treasure of Al-Andalus that became the second most important Islamic temple after Mecca itself.
Discover all the cultural subtleties hidden between its arches and columns, its doors, its façade, its ceilings and its huge Patio de los Naranjos. A building that integrates the different historical layers of the different civilisations that have passed through this place.
We will also visit the Jewish quarter of Cordoba, next to the mosque. It is part of the historic centre of the city, next to the Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos, and owes its name to the fact that it was home to the largest Jewish population between the thirteenth and fifteenth centuries.
