Maria Luisa Park is Seville’s first urban park and is one of the city’s most important green spaces, as well as one of its most photographed and visual natural areas.
It was originally part of the private gardens of the Infanta María Luisa Fernanda, Duchess of Montpensier, who lived in the current Palace of San Telmo, and who donated it to the City of Seville in 1914, also a relative of King Alfonso XII.
A few years later, it was declared an Asset of Cultural Interest in the category of Historic Garden, under the supervision of a French landscape architect. Within the park is the Plaza de España, designed by Aníbal González for the 1929 Latin American Exposition. It was designed as the largest space built for the event and symbolises the embrace of the old American territories.
During our route we will enter the María Luisa Park to enjoy its lush gardens, appreciate its careful details and be surprised by the design of its fountains and ceramics. Walking along its paths is like visiting the Ibero-American Exhibition of 1929.

Meeting Point
Meeting is in “Fuente Glorieta de San Diego” at 17:00H (Winter Time) and at 19:00H (Summer Time).
It is important to be at the meeting point about 10 minutes before the tour time, in order to check-in correctly.

- Tour available in Spanish. Choose the language of the to on the booking form. A minimum of 3 people is required to guarantee the tour in French or Italian. If this number of people is not reached, the tour will be done by default in English or Spanish. For other languages, please contact us.
