You’ll spend the day taking in the beautiful landscapes while enjoying stunning photo opportunities, and then feast on a delicious lunch including a plate of Iberian ham.
Our trip to Aracena begins in Seville, where our guide will meet you at the meeting point of your choice to take you by our own transport to our destination. It is in this town, located in the north-east of the province of Huelva, that we will make our first stop.
We will walk through the streets of Aracena until we reach the entrance to the Cave of Wonders.
A natural cave that impresses many people with its geological formations, such as stalactites and stalagmites.
We continue our route through the Dehesa de Sierra Morena. La Dehesa de Sierra Morena is a Spanish word that means grass of the mountains.
It is a natural environment of oaks and holm oaks where the Iberian pig, also known as the acorn-fed pig, thrives. The pigs feed on acorns and other products from these trees. There is a great gastronomic tradition of Iberian ham in this region.
We will enjoy the landscape that this Biosphere Reserve offers us, making several stops at emblematic places such as the Almonaster la Real Mosque, the medieval castle of Aracena or the Peña de Arias Montano.
La Dehesa de Huelva produces a wide variety of Iberian hams, including Serrano Ham, Acorn-fed Iberico Ham and Jamón. So we will have the opportunity to enjoy the typical gastronomy and taste the star dish of the Dehesa de Huelva: the famous Iberian ham.
During the excursion we will also visit the town of Rio Tinto, famous for its mines and the characteristic reddish colour of the waters of the Tinto River. An environment that seems to come from another galaxy, as if it were the Moon or Mars, where NASA carries out several tests due to its extreme conditions.

- Directly at 9:00 a.m. at our tourist office on Rastro Street, 12A. It is important to be at the meeting point about 10 minutes before the tour time, in order to check-in correctly.
- At your accommodation or hotel (only in the center of Seville and with confirmation of your hotel and pick-up time by phone at +34 654 871 750 once the reservation is confirmed ).

- You can check the availability in the reservation calendar. You can reserve a tour up to 10 hours before the start time.
- Tour available in English, Spanish, Italian and French. Choose the language of the to on the booking form. A minimum of 3 people is required to guarantee the tour in French or Italian. If this number of people is not reached, the tour will be done by default in English or Spanish. For other languages, please contact us.
