Carmona, called ”the Bright Star of Europe”, it’s a famous medieval village because of its archaelogical discoveries such as the subways of San Felipe or its palace-houses, as well the Necropolis, one of our most demanded part-time trips.
Full of Andalusian character and owner of a huge monumental heritage, Carmona has more than 3,000 years -or known history- and is listed as the first archaelogical site in Spain open to the public.
In this half day tour to Carmona we will visit the wonderful white town situated in a hill really close from Seville.
It has been inhabited for more than five thousand years, located on a plateau from where you can appreciate the Vega of the Carbones river. Its geographical location has given its historical importance.
We will begin our tour at the Roman Necropolis, built more than two thousand years ago. Its series of tombs and archeological pieces are representative of the art and culture of the era.
Afterwards we will walk the streets of the historic center, and have the opportunity to observe its millenary buildings. We will cross the gates of the city, these were part of the ancient wall that protected the city in different times of its history.
Meeting Point
Wednesdays at 9:30 am and Saturdays at 16:00 pm. Pick up in your accommodation in Seville or accessible near point. After your reservation, we will get in touch with you to specify the collection point and the exact pick up time.
Availability & Languages

- Tour available in Spanish, English, French and Italian. Choose the language of the to on the booking form. A minimum of 3 people is required to guarantee the tour in French or Italian. If this number of people is not reached, the tour will be done by default in English or Spanish. For other languages, please contact us.
